You are about to sell your property. You've just signed your listing agreement with your agent or you have decided to sell privately. You're pretty excited and want to get things moving.. Where do you start?
In order to present your property to the market in the best possible light and achieve maximum sale price, you will need to employ a professional photographer.
A professional Real Estate Photographer has the training, knowledge and experience required to produce the high quality photos which are essential to attract buyers to your property.
Preparing your home for sale can be quite overwhelming and many sellers just don't know where to start, or what to do. Many people's homes are full of personal belongings that they have built up over the years. Some sellers can't bare the thought of packing away belongings for the duration of the sale period. But you need to be prepared to declutter and hide things away, even if it's just for the photographs.
Your photographer will contact you to arrange a time that best suits you and do their best to accommodate you, but also remember your photographer wants to get the best possible photographs to help you sell your home. A time that is convenient to you may not necessarily be the best time of day to photograph your property.
A tip to remember when making the initial booking. Homes that face West - are best photographed in the afternoon. Homes that face East - are best in the morning. Homes with views such as the ocean - are best in the morning if wanting to capture the views without the glaring sun. Properties with swimming pools are best between 11am - 1pm.
Its always best to hold off if raining, but your photographer does understand sometimes in certain circumstances time is against us and the property needs to be marketed ASAP,
